Trivia and Hidden Extras
Dieselpunk is a retro-futuristic style that fuses the styles and images of the 1930s and 1940s with fantasy/sci-fi elements, as depicted in the pulp magazines of the era. This included the fusion of rocket packs and other technological innovations of the day with real-life depictions of Nazis, World War II, etc. Dieselpunk is part of a series of retro styles including steampunk, atompunk, etc. None of these actually have anything to do with "being a punk"; rather, it simply refers to the skewing of many styles into one unique style.
